Music Teacher

This position is for AdvitCare Learning Center

In this role, you will teach young beginners, helping them develop foundational skills and confidence. You will work closely with students and their families, supported by training and mentorship from our experienced faculty.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide engaging, age-appropriate cello instruction to young students.

• Support students in their musical development, preparing them for performance opportunities.

• Create a positive and supportive learning environment to encourage growth and enthusiasm.

• Collaborate with senior faculty to refine teaching techniques.

• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress.

• Participate in program-related events, such as recitals or workshops, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance (required).

• Experience teaching young children or relevant training in early music education.

• Strong instrument performance and teaching skills, with a passion for working with beginners.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with young learners and families.

• Commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.

• Professional, reliable, and enthusiastic about contributing to a new music program.

Starting Salary

• $50 USD per hour (after tax)
